Vancouver graphic design and film post-production
Here’s an interesting one. Some work with the Canadian Forces Logistics Association, a division of the Government of Quebec. They were looking to revamp their hallowed logo for some new branding for their RCOC Museum in Montreal. Many rounds of revision eventually led to this. The client was happy but alas, the project was shelved (as often happens with government projects). I think this one is pretty special, though.
Simple idea with a clear focus. The white / red of a nametag sticker and that of the Canadian flag were an interesting coincidence I wanted to play with.
This one took off pretty fast…
My first attempt at digital painting, following the purchase of a Wacom Intuos4, my first tablet. I'm not heavily into video games, but I happened to be playing BioShock at the time, and I was quite taken with the setting and the characters. This portrait was my tribute.
Print ads and coupons from when I contracted with Accroche Marketing, a direct-marketing firm based in Montreal. Of course, the larger brands required several rounds of back-and-forth with their marketing departments, using supplied brand bibles.
I worked at Cymax Stores as a copywriter, copyeditor and graphic / web designer for almost two years. Much of my work consisted of trying to create witty product descriptions for chairs and whatnot. Occasionally I'd make graphics for email blasts and website elements. Here are some of those!
